Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Soy crab is a must-try. I was a little bit afraid of the freshness but fortunately I ordered it at last. It was fresh and delicious, and I didn’t have a stomachache Most of the customers were young adults. The staff could only speak in English. Everything was so traditional Korean. I felt like I was actually in Korea. They have a lot of things on the menu. I guess next time I wanna try the daily special. It is affordable and welcomed by many customers. I would encourage you to go earlier, cause I didn’t have to wait at 6 pm. There was a line at around 8 pm."
"Flavourful and homey dishes, friendly staff, wide variety. There are many Korean restaurants on this street. This one has a 'comfort food' vibe to it, with a simpler but comfortable setting. Can get a very filling and fulfilling meal at ~$100-150 per head for weekend dinner. There are weekday lunch deals too. We especially enjoyed the kimbap, rabokki (ramen + rice cakes), and jajyongmeon."
"Tried the branch at Mongkok and now here at TST, it’s not crowded on a weekday evening, you can easily get a seat. Might be chilly as they blast the air-condition. The food was prompt on service and did not disappoint. The kimchi fried udon was beyond my expectations, it was almost like comfort food and we could not stop picking at it. For the pajeon/ pancake, the kimchi one might be more tasty. The seafood version was slightly bland. We also tried the hot plate pork that was delicious, it was sizzling and juicy! The spicy octopus was also not bad as a dish on its own with the somyun noodle on the side. Wouldn’t mind coming by for a quick dinner again! There’s many other korean restaurants along the same street to try too."
"It's a Korean restaurant located on the "Korean Street". They provide a wide variety of meal sets ranging from stir fried beef, rice roll to fried chicken, seafood cake and hot pot rice . The food quality is excellent and everything is reasonably priced. Just be aware of the line during lunchtime on weekdays - many high school students like dining at this place!"
"An authentic Korean restaurant, good atmosphere, spacious environment, nice food. The soy crab is so fresh and yummy, and there is a combination served with seaweed rice. The ox tail soup is also flavourful and the ox tail is cooked so well which is very tender. Last but not least, the Korean rice wine is a must-try in an authentic Korean restaurant."
"Good food We had a veggie rice noodle combo and a prawn noodle Overall the quality is ok. Veggie rice combo opinion got a soup but it comes with beef broth which is not good Should have the veggie option"
"Recommend getting the kimchi #dumplings for sure and if you're into it the lemon w/ orange drink it's slightly fizzy and so refreshing on hot days. So good. Chicken wings were ok but I prefer more spicy than sweet."
"In Tsim Sha Tsui, there's a trendy Korean restaurant popular among young people, featuring diverse dishes and special discounts. The meal included appetizers like kimchi, seafood pancakes, and an essential soy sauce crab, marinated to perfection. We also enjoyed kimchi stew with well-marbleized pork and soft tofu, ideal for the cold weather. For drinks, we ordered Makgeolli, a sweet rice wine that paired nicely with the seafood."
